Mr Van Vliet \u0026amp; his astonishing band took the conventional ideas about music \u0026amp; composition \u0026amp; turned them completely on their heads to create an album which still, to this day, stands as one of the benchmark recordings in history.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis copy has the ORIGINAL Straight catalogue numbers on both sleeve \u0026amp; labels, meaning that it was the first release in October 1969 before changing to the more common 2MS2027 number in January 1970.\u003cbr\u003eAs was normal at the time, the sides are labelled [\u0026amp; play] in the order 1\/4, 2\/3, to assist you when you play the record on your autochanger stacker.
