TANGERINE DREAM Atem (2011 UK 5-track CD reissue of the 1973 album, released on the Esoteric Reactive label as part of their remastered Virgin Years series. Widely regarded as one of the pivotal early works in Tangerine Dream's discography, Atem marked the end of their purely experimental phase and a transition into the melodic sequencer-driven sound that would soon define the Berlin School of electronic music. Produced by Edgar Froese and featuring expansive soundscapes like Wahn,Fauni-Gena, and the epic title track Atem, this album was a key influence on the ambient and kosmische scenes.
Housed in a double jewel case with restored artwork and picture sleeve inlay featuring updated liner notes. The case displays minimal shelfwear, and the disc remains in Near Mint condition EREACD21019)
