BERT JANSCH LA Turnaround (2009 issue UK Deluxe Edition 12-track vinyl LP - Released in September 1974, 'LA Turnaround' was produced by former Monkee Mike Nesmith at Stratton Smith's house in the country in Sussex, and in Los Angeles, and features not only Nesmith but also Red Rhodes, Klaus Voorman, Jesse Ed Davis and Byron Berline, giving this album an authentic LA 70s vibe, despite its UK origins. Presented in a picture sleeve complete with a picture booklet containing the original artwork, contemporary photos and freshly written notes [including commentary from Bert Jansch himself], this edition of 'LA Turnaround' includes an enhanced CD with bonus recordings and a previously-unseen cinema-verité film, made during the album recordings and featuring Bert, Mike Nesmith and Red Rhodes recording and performing songs)
