Frank Zappa The Old Masters Box Three - EX US Vinyl box set

FRANK ZAPPA The Old Masters Box Three (Now, I don't know about you, but for my money this is probably the most important box set after the first one. After the original Mothers & the Vaudeville Years, here we have the technical Jazz Band collection. This is the 1987 US mail order only limited edition, individually numbered, EIGHT album LP box set that contains some of the most wonderful music ever committed to vinyl. Remastered at UMRK in 1987, this set contains Waka/Jawaka,TheGrand Wazoo, Over-Nite Sensation, Apostrophe ('), Roxy & Elsewhere, One Size Fits All, Bongo Fury & Zoot Allures, which span FZ's classic touring bands of '73/'74 through to the more rock sound of the 'Rockin' Teenage Combo' on Zoot Allures. Jaw droppingly good throughout, each album comes in a high quality semi-reproduction of the original LP artwork [with lyric sheet for Apostrophe], together with a Donald Roller Wilson print, no gimmicks, just goodness. The entire set is housed in a nice brushed aluminium effect embossed box BPR-9999)

TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
This was the third & last Old Masters box released by Frank, with each album receiving a complete digital overhaul.
Being the perfectionist he was, Frank could not re-visit Vault tapes without giving them the benefit of some modernisation, be it EQ, mixing or restoring parts that were previously
cut out. This was just Frank being Frank.

Condition:
This was a tighter fit than the first two boxes. The sleeves remain in a really nice condition, with only light signs of play.
The box itself displays some minor general wear with some scuffing to the edges, and has a spot of white paint on the front, and the pull out draw has split at two corner. This is individually numbered on the back, and this onw is numbered ZM3-01508.
