KHAN Space Shanty (Rare, cult classic 1972 first UK issue 6-track LP on the red & white Deram label with matrices ending '1W' both sides, this album brought the guitar playing talents of Steve Hillage to public prominence but is also a splendid example of a fusion of Canterbury flavoured rock combined with jazz & space-rock influences. Also stars Egg's Dave Stewart plus Nick Greenwood on bass & Eric Peachy drums. The matt gatefold sleeve is Excellent showing some edge/surface wear,and a past owners name in black pen in the black section inside the gatefold but certainly nothing to distract the eye from the gorgeous David Anstey artwork. The vinyl is Excellent with merely a few faint spindle/surface marks to indicate any play. Highly recommended, especially for Gong, Canterbury and of course Steve Hillage fans! SDL-R11)
