MANUEL GOTTSCHING E2-E4 (Rare 1984 German 1st press 9-track vinyl LP - A truly pioneering electronic masterpiece from the legendary Ash Ra Tempel guitarist, originally recorded in one continuous session in December 1981 and issued three yearslater to instant cult acclaim. Seamlessly blending hypnotic guitar textures with looping minimalist synth patterns, E2–E4 became one of the cornerstones of ambient and early techno, inspiring a generation of artists from The Orb to Carl Craig. Housed in the distinctive abstract artwork embossed sleeve with matching labels, this is an essential piece for collectors of German electronic and Krautrock innovation. The sleeve on this example carries mild shelfwear and the vinyl shows minimal signs of play.
